Reporting a bug
Five lines is plenty. The ones that actually help:
- Which app, and the version — 4sum v1.1.0 or WHODUNITE v1.0.0.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version.
- What you were doing when it went wrong.
- What you expected instead.
- A screenshot, if there was anything to see.
If you’re already in the beta, the fastest route is inside TestFlight: take a screenshot in the app, tap Share, then Send Beta Feedback. That attaches the screenshot, your device details and the exact build automatically.
Getting into a beta
Both apps are in TestFlight and neither is on the App Store yet. Public invite links aren’t open yet either — email support@twobeersstudios.com saying which app you want and you’ll get an invite when the next round opens. You’ll need Apple’s TestFlight app to install it.
4sum
Does 4sum handle money?
No. It works out who owes whom and can hand the amount off to the Venmo app, where you pay by hand. 4sum processes no payments and holds no funds.
Can I use it with no cell service?
Yes — scoring, handicaps, standings and settle-up all run on the phone, so a course with no bars is fine.
How are handicap strokes worked out?
Course strokes come from your handicap and the numbers printed on the scorecard for the tees you picked, then they are allocated hole by hole off the card’s stroke index.
What if we quit after 16 holes?
Score what you played. Games that need a full round settle on the holes completed, and the app tells you what it did.
My course isn’t in the list.
Build the card once in the course editor — tees, pars and stroke indexes — and it’s saved for every round after that.
Can two people keep score at the same time?
Not yet. 4sum is built around one scorekeeper per round, with everything on that phone.
WHODUNITE
Does it upload anything?
Not in the current version — clips, photos, notes and pins stay on your phone, and there is no account to create. See the privacy policy for the detail, including what does touch the network.
Why does it want location all the time?
Mapping a night means recording where you go while the phone is in your pocket. It only runs while a night is running, and stops when you end the night or after three hours with nothing captured.
Can my friends see my night?
Not yet. The current version has no sharing and no friends list, so the only things that leave the app are ones you export yourself. Sharing is on the way.
How do I delete a night?
Swipe it away in the nights list, or use “delete all nights” in Settings to clear everything. Deleting the app removes the media files too.
The recap didn’t generate.
Recaps are built on the device and need a bit of spare storage and time. If it fails, send a report with roughly how many clips the night had.
Can I turn off drink tracking?
Yes. Decline the 21+ confirmation and it stays hidden, or switch it off in Settings.
Deleting your data
Neither app has an account today, and both keep what you put in on your phone. So deleting is something you do yourself: remove individual items inside the app, or delete the app to clear everything at once.

Response time
This is a side project, not a support desk. Expect a reply within a few days — sooner if something is broken badly enough to stop you using the app.
